On April 16, Scott Bandy suffered a horrific accident while competing in the Tumut Rodeo, where he is reported to have ruptured an abdominal artery and lost three litres of blood. He was transfered from the local hospital to intensive care in Canberra and is said to be recuperating.
Apparently, his bronco sprang from the chute but fell backwards on top of him. As one of Australia's greatest horsemen, we wish him a complete recovery, so that he can compete again at the top level.
